37 miles of great tracks and lanes, very muddy in places and really hard going at times but all good fun and worth the effort.
Did a local route today, went from home in dull cloudy skies and headed over to Dyserth via Gwaenysgor and Craig Fawr where the heavens opened, first with hailstones and then heavy rain, after about 1/2 hour of this the sun came out.
I made my way over to Cwm where there was a mother sheep stuck in a deep bog with it's two baby lambs nearby crying out loud, with no chance of even getting close to the sheep to free it I headed up the lanes to the nearest farm, told the farmer and he headed off out to free the sheep. I then made my way over to Trelogan where thick heavy cloud came over again, the wind picked up and it started raining, from here I dropped back down to FFynnongroyw. Did a local route this afternoon, along the coast and up to Halkyn then past Caerwys and Cwm Forest and back home, 29 miles battling against the winds.
